This e-mail has just been sent out 3pm Monday pm.
Our coaches have just inspected the square at City of London Freemens and it is clearly very wet. The forecast is for further heavy rain tonight and in the early hours of Tuesday morning with some clearer weather coming in about 10am on Tuesday.We think the air may be dry enough by lunch time on Tuesday but we are sure that the square and surrounds wil not be playable.
We therefore are calling off the Under 15 session.
It is hoped that you all receive this mail but some addresses are clearly work based and we are worried that parents will not read this until tomorrow at the earliest. Can you please just check with your County colleagues that they know?
Our task now is to see you out in the middle.We will have selectors at County games and we are at present working out a timetable . We will also speak to County staff for a progress report.

1730 -I have just been advised by our coaches that due to the uncertainty of playing on Sunday the have decided to cancel the Under 15 and Under 17 sessions on May 4th.
This has been confirmed by e-mail to the 76 players involved. The full text of the mail can be read if you have not received your copy. Please check with your County colleagues that they are aware of this decision.

"I am hosting a cricket camp in La Manga at the end of August
I attach a PDF poster of the event and ask if you would be so kind as to circulate this to parents please? My biggest problem is not being able to get information out in time to those likely to want to go at school, clubs or to parents. And since La Manga is on the ICC radar as a cricket training facility, I thought a family holiday incorporating cricket would appeal.
